SPRING BREAK UPDATE

Baseball Parents:

Since many of you are in the midst of trying to make plans for spring break, I would like to give you a little advanced information regarding the baseball schedule for that week, April 2-6, 2012.

As we gear up towards the upcoming baseball season we wanted to make you aware of the plan for the Varsity Spring Break Tournament in Fort Walton, Florida. The dates for this trip are April 1 (travel day) through April 3 (last day of tournament play). If your son, through tryouts and early season results, is invited on the trip, your obligations would be as follows:

1) Getting your son there

2) Two nights hotel stay, with one night paid for by the Dugout Club (hotel expenses will be split between 3 boys sharing assigned rooms... the Dugout Club has budgeted to pay for one of these nights, your son would be responsible for 1/3 of the second night)

3) Spending money for meals, leisure activities, etc... (Dugout Club will cover game Gatorades and snacks)

We wanted to make you aware of this current planning activity. I will inform the boys shortly after tryouts regarding their requested attendance on the trip at which point you'll be asked for confirmation on your son attending.

Players on both the JV and Freshman teams will not play during spring break as their season ends prior to that week.

Kick Off Dinner

After rosters have been posted, The NHS Boys Baseball Season Kick Off Dinner will take place Monday, Feb 13, 6:30pm, Location TBD. (We will update the location here as soon as plans are finalized.)

Coach Bartlett will conduct a presentation on this season's expectations. All coaches and the Dugout Club Committee will be available to answer any questions.

We look forward to seeing our team players and parents at this fun event!

Tryouts are scheduled for Jan 30 - Feb 3 immediately after school. Please report in work out attire with all your equipment. Contact Coach Bartlett BartlettJ2@fultonschools.org for questions.

Don't forget the following:

Submit a health physical to Coach Bartlett before tryouts.
PLAYER REGISTRATION tab at left is for players' use AFTER tryouts when players have been named to a team.

- Welcome 2011-12 Baseball Families -

Hello - I am Josh Bartlett, Varsity Caoch for NHS Titans Baseball.

I look forward to meeting new baseball families attending NHS
as well as welcoming back our existing players and their families.

We have a fantastic program here at NHS with a coaching staff
and parent booster club that offers a
terrific baseball experience for your boys.

I hope the boys are working hard
to get in shape for spring and I'll look forward to seeing
them at try-outs Jan 30 - Feb 3.
